Mindfulness and Playful (Entering grades K-5)
This course will incorporate mindfulness and playtime! We will begin each session with a mindfulness practice, including guided meditation, calming movement breaks and breathing techniques for calm bodies. We will then have playtime where we will play a variety of games including board games, cooperative games and individual choice-including blocks, magnatiles, drawing, and legos. We will end each session with a read aloud around mindfulness. Instructor: L. Georgantas
